Rear View Reversing Parking Lens

We have had these Rearguard lenses on the rear windows of three different Volvo estates since 1988 and I don't know how we'd have managed to fit them safely into standard parking bays and narrow car parks otherwise, while avoiding children, dogs and low bollards! I still have the original 1988 car (a Volvo 240) and I have just replaced the lens for the second time in 26 years; even this was only necessary because I applied a new lens when I replaced the whole tailgate and I must have used water with some fine iron rubbing-down particles in it, which then went rusty. The only thing to beware of is that this lens model works best with 'boxy' cars (or SUVs) whose rear windows are near-vertical. If the window slopes a lot, you will need a different type of lens that hangs from a bracket.Long-time user (22 Jul 2014, 11:58)
